extra books

Take your books that are in good condition to work. Let your co-workers pick through them and take what they want. Children’s books are especially popular.
Trading back and forth gets rid of your extras and gets you new materal. What
books no one wants can be donated to the “Friends of the Library”

While I really respect this sentiment, I get so attached to my books. There is something extremely comforting about sitting and looking at shelves of books.

But for those who can part with their books this is a great thing to do. Though I do have a bunch of crummy books I will definitely never read again that I could get rid of, but that just seems lame only getting rid of the “bad” books. Kind of like taking worn out appliances to the Goodwill drop-off instead of the dump.
