Almost forgot….dang!

When we were in Boise, Idaho we happened across someone who is perhaps one of the most ingenious entrepreneurs of our time. His name is Joe and his business is 1-800-Munchies. In a nutshell, he offers home (or office) deliveries of your favorite food, snack or other desirable item anytime—24/7. So cool! The process is simple and he charges a $5.00 delivery fee plus the balance of the requested items. Not too shabby.

He posed for us, waving a peace sign in front of his Munchies truck. Oh, I do hope to recover those photos one of these days.

What is that a picture of? Is there water in Boise?

Good business idea. I knew some folks who were among the first to offer delivery for restaurants that don’t deliver, but I’m not sure how well that worked out. Hopefully munchies guy has a good go of it. With gas prices the way they are $5 doesn’t seem like much.

So you saved the hard drive with the photos? When I had hard drives die in the past, at least once, years later, before throwing them out, I tried installing them one last time and was able to retrieve a lot of historical stuff like photos and art projects. It’ll happen.
