So, more from the UK Case Lady and this time it actually has to do with cases… well cases AND extreme sports. One of the more interesting things I have been doing at work lately is gathering stories from some of the different people that use our cases. It’s been pretty surprising to me seeing all of the different contexts and ways people find to use them.
One person I’ve been emailing with is Daniel Randall. Daniel is an extreme athlete who specializes in everything from paragliding to BASE jumping and freestyle bmx. He’s also an avid UK user who was more than happy to send me a few pictures of what he puts in the cases.
Be sure to check out his website where he has lots of himself flying in the sky, defying gravity on his bike, and doing many other things that would terrify me and, because of my incredibly terrible sense of balance, probably get me killed. Seriously, I can fall over just standing still… road-biking is about as extreme as I get. How about everyone else? Any other extreme athletes lurking around on here?
I’ve done a fair share of extreme activities in my day. Heck, we were doing extreme before there as a name for it.
And I’ve just got to say I respect folks that engage in activities that inspire such statements as this one from Daniels site:
“My gear is invaluable to me. It cannot let me down. It must be totally reliable. I do not use nor endorse mediocre products… my life depends on it! I’m involved in research & development for my sponsors to help them achieve the best product design and performance in their field.”
What do the kids say these days? That’s hardcore!
Like a girlfriend I had a long time ago said, “If you can’t see the dirt going down the drain at the end of the day, you ain’t livin’.” Guess I’ve dated some wild ones, eh? What a great life.

Thank you UK CASE LADY.
These kinds of stories were one of the motivating factors behind CoTradeCo. While a store and a community might not seem natural at first, the more we learn about the people who use the various specialty and niche products we sell such as UKCases, the more exciting the site becomes, and the more interesting folks and opportunities we will all encounter along the way.
You have demonstrated one of the core values behind the trading post. I wish we had the rating systems in place because I would have give you a thumbs up!
I look forward to hundreds more stories about people and businesses like this one (not all from you UK CASE LADY :)
