This video, “1980’s Hydrogen in the News – Water HHO Torch Demonstration” is an example of the HHO water fueled torch seen in my previous post, Water as fuel. Has the process been perfected?
While the person who posted this video to YouTube seems to think that modern media isn’t covering this stuff, I don’t think that is quite true. I am including it here simply to show that some of these alternative, supposedly free (low cost :) energy concepts have been around for a while, and that either they are all scams, merely young technologies, or have been ignored or suppressed by corporate and political interests. While I don’t apply “faith” to a lot of things, in this case I “believe” that it is probably a combination of all three. Most of them are scams, some are just early breakthroughs that have yet to be fully explored, and of those some of these have been at least “held back” by a not quite free market. But that’s just me.
Or maybe I’m just bitter that the sci-fi cities of the future don’t exist yet and I still don’t have a flying car…
