Bumble Bee

I bought this car in 2001 from
Andy Sites (scroll about 3/4’s down the page)
when I found it inside the trailer he had for sale.
It became my trailer and the car came home with it too.
I decided to take it to NSXPO 2002 when Mark Basch made the decision that fixing the 3.2L motor
in the Candy Cane that one of his test BBSC installs blew up in 2/2/02 was not that important to do.
(he had 7 months in 2002 to do it prior to NSXPO, and it still is blown up in
2004 ).

Back to the good stuff – this car rocks and is great fun to drive. I
added some (ok … lots) of rice decals, 16” CE28N wheels, DC Sports
Titanium Race headers, and an Exedy single disc race clutch with lite
fly. UMP fabricated a custom intake with Apexi filter, front splitter
and some neat brake
ducting. On the motor side we disassembled, cryo treated and rebuilt
the motor & tranny. While that was happening we extrudehone’d the
head and intake manifold for 10% better flow. It runs a SPOON
computer. A track favorite unless you’re the NSX being passed!

As I make further mods you can check them out at nsxgod.com .
