I started a page in our resource library a while back to show off some interesting and unique Pelican case mods and uses.

I was inspired to re-announce the Pelican mod page after talking with one of our trading post customers about their recent Pelican 1450 case order. Apparently he is mounting it as a top box on his motorcycle in a similar manner to a picture Hoots Magoon had posted at Adventure Rider- Ride the world forums .
Hopefully we can get new pics of the 1450 on another bike soon. (hint hint :)
In the meantime, why not get your own SPOT at CoTradeCo and post some cool Pelican Case mods. If you don’t have time to sign up just email them in. We’ll be happy to post them for you. See some interesting mods at our Creative and Unique Pelican Case Modifications resource page
1450 Pelican Case Mod from Hoots Magoon at the Adventure Rider- Ride the world forums
Glad you came by again Daniel. We all look forward to your final project.
Who cares about selling another case…it’s seeing what people do and how they use the stuff that is so interesting.
Take care and talk to you soon. I think your case ships first thing tomorrow if I heard right.

Hint hint?? :-) Well, as soon as my new case arrives, I’ll be sure to post a pic of the application.. Here’s a photo of the bike it’ll be mounted on, and it’ll be attached to the rear rack, where the smaller black duffle is currently located.
I’ve also ordered “Bungie Buddies” to attach to the top of the box, just as Hoots has done. This will be for attaching a bag to the top of the box. I’m also a fairly frequent poster on the ADV Rider site, as well as a moderator at klrforum.com..
I’m looking forward to the box. I’ve got several Pelican products for my job, and the quality of the product is second to none.
Anyway, when it all comes together, I’ll post a photo.
