Scott, I’m pretty sure they were striking out with acquiring a big bat so they went the next route. As a team that seems to always be in the playoff hunt yearly, I think they wanted to make it look as if they were being proactive. I like the trade, plus he is theirs for 2 years…..at I think 12.75 million but still. Morales maybe would be around to DH in the playoffs but YOUR texas Rangers should be putting this division on lock down very soon.
