APPALACHIAN ST PK Charleston (1 UNIT)

I’m a big fan of this APPALACHIAN ST team. I think this team is flying under the radar, and not getting nearly the credit they deserve. That’s actually a good thing for us from a betting standpoint, because then we get lines such as this one today.

Bottom line, oddsmakers know Appalachian is a better team than Charleston is. How else can you figure or explain this line being a PK??? Fact is, Charleston is overrated. Charleston has been overrated since they beat North Carolina. At the time, it seemed like that win was huge. As the season has progressed, we have seen that North Carolina simply isn’t very good.

When comparing these two teams, we see a few glaring things. First, Charleston can’t rebound to save their lives. They simply aren’t a good rebounding team, as they don’t have the personel to dominate the boards. To no suprise to anyone, Charleston is one of the worst rebounding teams in their own conference, and might be the worst rebounding team ranked in the top 115 in the nation. Appalachian St, meanwhile, can rebound and that’s a huge advantage tonight. Even better, Appalachian can play some defense if they have to as well. Both teams like to play fast, and both excel at that. The difference is Appalachian St. can play DEFENSE and REBOUND while Charleston can’t.

Again, there is a reason why this line is a PK. If Charleston wasn’t backed by the betting public, i have little down that Appalachian St. would be at least -3 right now. The true line for this game was set at -4 by yours truly. I know we are getting betting value here today, and that’s why this is my 2nd favorite play of the day. Charleston was lights out at home this season, going 11-1 SU for the season. Charleston only beat Appalachian St. by 1 point at home this season. Appalachian gets their much deserved revenge today, as they will prove what sharps already know. Appalachian St. is the better overall team, and tonight they show that. Appalachian St. at a PK is a 1 UNIT PREMIUM PLAY for me tonight!
