Took JJ on monday when lines came out at 4.5 to 1. Should be down to 3-1 by Sunday.

Prolly will go with Kyle Busch to win putting a smaller amount on him. Right now he’s 8 to 1 odds to win.

Nice MP. I will admit I am absolutely not into Nascar at all. Besides knowing some drivers and Jimmy Johnson winning for the last few years, no idea what is what there. What do you base your picks on – just how drivers have ran lately, or how they have run on that track in the past, or what drivers run well in rain (assuming vegas gets some rain this weekend?) Not sure what you look at for that. LMK

I used to hate nascar. My in laws are huge dale jr. fans so i would root against him and some how got into it.

My picks are based very simply on who is running good of late and to do with who is good at the track.

Very early in the year so I am keeping it rather small. Of course JJ won last week in Cali and won a qualifying race in Daytona. But that mofo is good everywere.

I watch the races and get a feel of who has their shit figured out and it makes it easier to predict. But once again very simple.

JJ usually has one the the best three cars wherever he shows up at. He won three in a row there from 05 to 08. So worth a shot.

Kyle Busch is worth a shot at 8 – 1 IMO. He has a win here. Also is from Vegas so a little extra motivation to win at his home track.

They wont race in the rain. They will wait that out. Sometimes until the next day.

Goes to show you how much I know if they won’t race in a little water. Aren’t more crashes good? LOL

2-2 last night but lost the Lock/POD/Top Play of WIGB as they blew a 14 point 2nd half lead to lose by 7. The trap was set and I fell right into it.

I actually agree Nick. I think Phx rolls tonight by a ton, but not sure I can play it with reverse line movement and a big number. When that dropped from the opening line of double digits down to -9, it kinda stinks

Stu Jackson, NBA executive vice president of basketball operations, announced the fine Friday.

Bynum was fined for his comments made following the Lakers’ 101-96 loss Wednesday to the Dallas Mavericks.

“It’s hard to win when it’s five against eight,” Bynum said after the game, referring to the notion that the three referees were favoring the five Mavericks on the court.
