Folks around the Montreal and Toronto Canada metropolitan areas started seeing these signs appearing at bus stops. (Click the picture to the right to see larger).

Text reads:

My son used to have his own hopes and aspirations. Now he has mine.

Apparently there has been a lot of speculation over who was behind the ads. Rumors and theories ranged from Scientologists, know for their anti-pharmaceutical stance, to the AdBusters Media Foundation .

Thursday, February 21, Colleges Ontario officially announced their involvement with the ad campaign, an advocacy organization representing twenty-four colleges across the province. They still haven’t explained why, but promised to in an upcoming media launch event.
