Friday was pretty unexciting overall. Some good fights to watch though, although they didn’t go our way, they were entertaining. MLB beat up the board on Friday to almost everyone.
We need a spark around here! Lots of games, and more fights tonight too. Lets get it done. Good luck, and see ya in the AM!
Nice 4.5 earthquake at 4:30am to wake us up. Always fun to get one of those…
Baseball was rough yesterday. Tough loss TD. I am still keeping our card small, probably until after the break. Royals look like a solid play today at +147, and that is what I am rolling with. Anyone else around today?
Im here, no golf this afternoon, at least that ’s what it looks like now, have to punish myself and watch Indians, small play on OVER Tribe and DEt games
what’s up guys??
Quiet board day. I’ll open it up with some MMA plays for tonight:
JOE STEVENSON +140 Nate Diaz…...I know this is an unpopular play, as many people love the Diaz brothers. The difference between Nick and Nate is their competition. While Nick has faced the best in the world, Nate has not. Don’t get me wrong, i think Nate can be a future champion, but this is his toughest competition to date. Stevenson HAS faced the best in the UFC at 155. Stevenson has a HUGE advantage in power. I think Stevensons power will cause so much problems for Diaz. Of course Diaz can and will attempt several submissions from the guard position, but i don’t think Stevenson will get caught. In a 3 round fight, i just feel that Stevenson can win this decision. And at +140, the value is on Stevenson. TAKE HIM!
I would love to see ricky Barnes have a 5 stroke lead going into last 9 of the Open to see if somebody can chase him down. Notwithstanding all our bets of course, my best horse right now is Sergio at 30 – 1
Tiger’s side of the draw (on tee times) is really in trouble.
CHRIS LYTLE -250 Kevin Burns…....I don’t like laying this type of number, but i think it’s warranted here. Lytle is on a different level than Burns. Look for Lytle to really exchange some hands here, and take advantage of Burns false sense of ability. Burns hung tough with some noted strikers in the past, but Lytle is a different man. Look for the hungry Lytle to end this fight late in the first round via brutal KO.
I still like Sean O’Hair a bit. He just needs to stay consistent through Sunday. Adam Scott is a solid choice as well
and i will say this about the US OPEN this year:
This year more than any major in the past decade, the luck of the draw has meant everything. The afternoon-morning combo has been by far the easiest draw. Just look at the leaderboard for proof!
Bob,
Jeff was on top of his game tonight, with a TON of help from the ump behind the plate. What a strike zone he had going for Jared. Got him rattled, and then he hung a few. Still the 7th inning, but Angels aren’t getting this one in my opinion
