open the door on the budget

Every year We the Citizens of California go thru the same thing. The fools up in Sacramento who call themselves public servants mess with peoples lives. They fool around and play politics and do not pass a budget. It is time the public puts a stop to this nonsense. First, for every day that a budget is not passed the legislature must stay in secession no time off. Second, for each day there is no budget all legislators should not get paid. Does anyone know how to get such laws on the ballot?

And, along the way all of the vendors who sell the state don’t get paid until there is a budget. The guys in Sacramento have no trouble getting together and trying to ram through the last election a measure to extend their terms which fortunately failed. It always seems to come down to a bunch of politicans trying to protect their little worlds without remembering why they were elected in the first place. Proposition 13 was aimed at these guys and was supposed to force them to live within our means. Do you ever feel like the Hampster on the wheel? How about a simple ballot measure that throws them all out and says we have to start over?
