Trader Dan knows times are rough and this ain’t no company store. And even when they aren’t he knows everybody can use a break. That’s why he created the Trading Post 50% off Hard Times Breakfast Special. Trader Dan appreciates you making CoTradeCo your spot for talkin’ and shoppin’. This is his way of saying thanks to the folks who choose CoTradeCo first!

What products have the discount available?

The Hard Times Breakfast Special is a special deal that is kind of like a lottery. You just can’t know in advance if you might get the 50% off price. It is a bonus that Trader Dan hopes will come as a shockingly pleasant surprise. Thus there will be no list of what products still have the discount available.

There is no real way to plan to get the discount other than to keep an eye out in the community blog, especially in the Potluck community blog topics CoTradeCo news, comments, and requests and CoTradeCo product showcase to keep up on new products being added to the catalog.

But since the Hard Times Breakfast Special is brand new, we will give you fair warning that a variety of outdoor products from CHUMS will be added in the near future that are brand new CHUMS product lines. Nearly all of these items will qualify. But there are two other products that currently on the site that have a Hard Times Breakfast Special available right now!

How it works

  1. One of our suppliers (or CoTradeCo original product lines) announces a new product
    (e.g. Pelican announces a brand new case or Underwater Kinetics announces a brand new divelight / flashlight or Chums announces a new line of outdoor products)
  2. Trader Dan adds that product to the CoTradeCo store
  3. You are the first person to add that item to your shopping cart, submit the order, and complete the transaction 1
  4. Trader Dan takes 50% off the regular CoTradeCo price before he bills your credit card 2

And you just got a brand new product, the first one sold through CoTradeCo, at HALF OFF!

NOTE: Not all recently added products qualify. Only brand new, never before seen products count. The ‘NEW’ filter in the store catalog will show products that are new to CoTradeCo but are not actually new products! Thank you for understanding.

1: We’re just being specific for clarity, but you can also be the first person to call in the order. If you are the first person to quote/pre-order the item and contact us to finish the transaction that also counts. The person who submits payment first, that is the first person to say, “I am ready to pay for it,” gets the 50% off.
